Take a deep breath for me. What I’m about to say might make you uncomfortable. That’s because I’m about to say some nice things about you, and if you’re anything like me, getting compliments is one of the least pleasant experiences in your life.
But I’m going to do it anyway — you need to hear it and with everything thats been going on, I need to say it. You, my friends, are awesome. I don’t mean that in the overused way we mean “awesome” today, but in the classic sense: you make me feel awe. Every day I see some of the most amazing creations the photography world has to offer. Every one of you, the Light Bleed Addicts, Comp Stompers, Fakers, Egomaniacs and the keyboard handicapped are just that, AWESOME!
Every time you say or write something cruel, I want you to imagine you’re saying it to yourself. So I challenge you: can you forgive someone today for something from the past? I’ll try if you do. PS. Image captured at the amazing Salto Grande Patagonia in what I believe is an original composition.
