Pelican Wings by Sunil

The great white pelican also known as the eastern white pelican, rosy pelican or white pelican is a bird in the pelican family. The difficult part about capturing is geting the exposure right in the harsh mid day sun, when they come out to fly. The shadows and highlights are too much to handle and the whites get blown out easily. But the good part is that the shutter speed can be boosted to 1/3200 .

五马坊牌坊做前景．
大观亭建于明嘉靖三十年（1557），该亭砖木结构，亭平面呈八角形，三层檐，楼阁式建筑。一二层八角檐，三层转为四边形，歇山顶。底层外墙花窗呈八卦图形，横坊以斗拱托大梁，天花板饰以锦纹彩绘。二层有外廊，靠檐置坐凳和栏杆，内柱间置方格隔扉，天花板上有凤戏牡丹彩绘。第三层为虚阁。亭外观造型别致，八角飞翘，风铃叮当，故又称“八角亭”。
2006年，许村古建筑群被国务院公布为国家重点文物保护单位。
