Sometimes I perch in high places and find myself matching with the mood of my surroundings. ☺️ This was taken 3 weeks ago during an incredible month-long adventure living out of my car in the Rockies. I happened to be stuffing my face with a muffin in a coffee shop when I looked out the window and saw these dark rain clouds settling in, so I sacrificed my cozy coffee time to race up the mountain and shoot something cold and moody. 😂 This is maybe one of my darkest images I’ve created, which I felt summed up a lot of the first half of my year (and for many of us). I wanted to pay tribute to that, especially after a several month hiatus from creating new images… So here’s to the beauty found in feeling each moment, even the hard ones.
