Timeless by Craig Holloway

Conditions as good as those received on this morning at Lake Wanaka remind me why this spot remains a timeless classic photographic location. After a totally cloudless, starry sky on arrival just prior to first light, some amazing cloud blew in at sunrise which lit up like a Christmas tree. This shot was taken just after the sun popped over the mountains behind me, lighting up the scene with a warm golden glow.
