I come to Yoho Park many times every year. The Emerald Lake has different scenery and vision throughout the year. It is never enough to see. In winter, the Emerald Lake is surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Pure, natural and beautiful. It was first discovered by Europeans in 1882, when the famous mountain guide Tom Wilson was arrested to the lake. He was immediately attracted by the bright green water.
