Glorious Maelstrom by Timothy Poulton
I’ll be the first to admit it didn’t require much skill to capture this scene; mother nature did most of the work I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. It did work out to be a fantastic test of the dynamic range of the new FujiFilm GFX 50s and the ability to drag back detail from over exposed areas. It’s also one of my favorite locations and a source of great frustration for other photographers that are tired of this composition. Plenty more thoughts and images to come from the new set up including some serious Astro work.
