Sea Cave by David Alvarez Velicia

One of the things that I enjoy the most in my photography jaunts is discovering new places, luckily in the Asturian coast there are many spots and many of them are practically unknown. This is the case of the cave in this photo, it was a coincidence because what I was looking for is a passage at low tide to reach a nearby place called Niu de Lulio and although I did not get to it because the tide was not low enough, the surprise was to find this beautiful cave on the east end of Torbas Beach. The cave is impressive because of its large size and its two openings and it’s similar to the best-known cave on the Playa de Campiecho. The photo is difficult by the difference in light so it is made by blending multiple exposures and using a Nisi square polarizing filter to eliminate reflections.
